Back to School Bash

Back-to-School Drive
July 14–21

Our Compassion & Justice ministry is rallying our church to support over 3,000 students heading back to school this fall. We hope to ease the financial burden of shopping for school supplies by collecting supplies for these families.

Our goal for all of our Willow locations is that each of the over 3,000 students we support will return to school feeling prepared and excited for the school year!

How you can help...

View the specific donations your campus is collecting below. You can purchase the items and drop them off in the main lobby at your campus from July 14 & 21 or you can buy the items via the Amazon Wish List to have them shipped directly to our locations.

Crystal Lake

Huntley

As Willow Huntley, we are partnering with local schools and the district! These partners have requested that we help resource families in our community by bringing:

Backpacks (middle schoolers/high schoolers – not for small kids)
Lunch boxes (middle schoolers/high schoolers – not for small kids)
#2 pencils
Pencil sharpeners
One-subject wide or college-ruled spiral notebooks
Three-subject wide or college-ruled spiral notebooks
Black or Blue-Ink pens – medium point
Highlighters – assorted colors

North Shore

South Barrington

As a South Barrington campus, we are challenging every household to donate one backpack to reach our goal of collecting 2,024 backpacks.

Back to School Bash

At the end of July, we’ll transform the Care Center space to host a back-to-school event called the Back to School Bash. At the Back to School Bashes, we’ll welcome thousands of students through our doors so they can receive a new backpack and fill it with supplies. In addition, we’ll be providing free back-to-school haircuts, food, activities, and fun!
