The book of Joshua tells the story of a leader who took up the mantle of a legend (Moses), a man who had seen the promised land with his own eyes and attested that the promises of God were real and waiting for the people to take possession of them. The promises were real but the people would require obedience, courage, grit, and tenacious faith.
