Condolences

Grace and peace to you from the God of all comfort as you navigate the grief of loss. Our church cares for you and will walk alongside you as you process, plan, and heal.

Groups

When you’re grieving the loss of a family member or friend, it’s essential to find support. Our Grief Support groups offer a safe space to heal, providing comfort, hope, and valuable tools to guide you through the grieving process. Connect with others who have experienced similar losses and find the support you need to navigate this difficult time.

Groups meet in 10-week terms, three times a year.

Funerals

The death of someone you love ushers in a cascade of complex emotions, and planning a funeral or memorial service to honor, remember, and celebrate loved ones can feel overwhelming. Let Willow’s funeral team help you during this difficult time. Our compassionate funeral pastors provide support, comfort, and help in designing a meaningful commemoration to honor your loved one.

Willow Creek officiants (pastors) can help you plan your loved one’s memorial or funeral—and can lead your service, whether it’s held in Willow South Barrington’s Chapel, at your preferred Willow Creek regional location, or elsewhere.

Call 224-512-1800, email funerals@willowcreek.org or connect with a pastor to get started.

Receive prayer

Workshops

Some days are harder than others. Our “Handling the Hard Days” workshop is designed to provide support and strategies for navigating the challenging moments of grief. This interactive session will empower participants to share their experiences and learn coping techniques to help make the difficult days a bit more manageable. Registration will soon be available for our spring session, where we invite you to find connection and comfort in a welcoming environment.

Registration is not yet open.
