The Camp Paradise Summer Staff role is a paid position for high school students and young adults.

What is Summer Staff?

As part of a closely-knit team, Summer Staffers invest their time from Mid-June through Mid-August to help multiply our ministry.  The Summer Staff help run daily activities throughout Camp Paradise sessions, as well as help with the cleaning and maintenance of facilities on campgrounds. Join the life change that happens at camp, gain valuable experience, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Is Summer Staff for me?

Summer Staff is a paid role for high school students and young adults.

 

  • Be a part of a closely knit, high energy team of like-minded individuals.
  • Explore the beauty and adventure of the Upper Peninsula as a team during off-days.
  • Participate in the required manual labor and upkeep of campgrounds.
  • Step away from the busyness of life and wholeheartedly serve camp attendees, including women, dads, and children (ages 8-12).
  • Grow spiritually and relationally with God, yourself, and others.

 

Camp can also include extra opportunities to exercise the following interests, gifts, and skill sets:

  • Lifeguard certification
  • Cooking, food knowledge, and work in a commercial kitchen
  • High adventure, climbing knowledge
  • Multimedia work and content creation
