At Willow, our Compassion & Justice Ministry team is dedicated to showcasing the incredible work of our global partners. Through our annual Celebration of Hope, we’ve had the privilege of sharing the transformative stories of organizations making a lasting impact worldwide. In this blog, we connect with some of these partners to hear how their ministries are changing lives and communities. From reaching the unreached in South Asia to empowering leaders in El Salvador and Malawi, these partners are doing remarkable work, and we’re honored to support them. Discover how God is moving through their efforts and how, together, we can continue making a difference globally!

The mission of our global partner, RIMI (Reaching Indians Ministry International), is to share the hope of the Gospel with unreached communities in South Asia, while nurturing Christlike leaders who are dedicated to transforming lives and neighborhoods. With the support of 220 local churches, RIMI is amplifying mercy and compassion through impactful initiatives like building public bathrooms to boost sanitation and safety—especially for women and children. They also run vibrant child development centers that provided education to over 700 children last year, offering them a brighter future. These efforts not only inspire trust and foster faith, but also pave the way for new churches to flourish and transform entire communities.

What has the partnership with Willow Creek meant to you?

Your partnership is precious and sacred as you are committed to reach the unreached and underprivileged in Haryana and South Asia. Your partnership has changed the lives of so many pastors, women, children, and communities. We have provided clean water and sanitation for poor villages. Your impact is so huge.

During Celebration of Hope, we highlight the stories and ministries of global partners (like you) to encourage our congregation to serve and give generously. How has Celebration of Hope made an impact on your ministry?

Hundreds of lives are transformed through the message of Christ by your partnership

There are many stories we can share, but here is one story we received.

A local pastor from one of our South Asia regions gave his life to Christ in 2018, and the transformation in his life inspired his entire family to follow. His prayer was to start a church in his village, and in 2020, God opened the door for partnership with our ministry. Through compassion projects like bore wells and sanitation, we were able to support the community, especially the women who previously had to travel 3-4 kilometers for water. The bore well became a huge blessing, and today, thanks to your support, 15 families gather every Sunday to worship the living God, with Jesus as their living water. Thank you for your partnership!

You’ve been receiving teams from Willow for a while. What does God do through those serving teams?

The teams from Willow are such an inspiration and encouragement to our local leaders and communities. Raju and Sandeep are truly encouraged by the presence of the team and their teaching and preaching. They not only receive the funds, but they are blessed to know there are people who care about them and identify with them in their suffering and ministry challenges. Sending teams from the church is so pivotal as part of working together to advance God’s Kingdom.

What do you hope will come from our churches continuing to partner together?

We hope there will be continued prayers, continued financial support, and continued teams going to South Asia to teach, preach, and observe what God is doing in the field. We hope to establish more churches and train more young people to plant churches and transform communities. We hope to serve 1,000 or more children in each state and provide more clean water and sanitation facilities.
