Welcome to Willow! We’re so excited to gather on Sundays—in person and online—for services, kids, and student programs. As always, you can check out a service on Willow Online, or plan a Sunday visit at one of our Chicagoland locations.
Current SeriesIn Conflict
Conflict is inevitable, and many of us have built unhealthy patterns in our lives to deal with it: stonewalling, blaming others, retreating, refusing to compromise, etc. In Conflict will look to the life of David to see how we can navigate conflict in a way that heals, brings God glory, and cultivates healthy relationships.
Our lives are filled with internal conflicts, from what we choose to eat and how we use our time to avoiding our trauma and running from our grief. Learn how to deal with the conflict within you in healthy ways!
THE CONFLICT AROUND YOU
January 19
Throughout history, we have seen everything from sibling rivalry to failed marriages, broken friendships, discrimination across people groups, wars, and much more. 2 Samuel 6 will illuminate the conflict around us and provide strategies for moving toward healing.
THE CONFLICT BECAUSE OF YOU
January 26
You make choices that impact those around you every day. So what happens when you hurt others? Instead of denying or deflecting, you can seek a more restorative and reparative way forward.
THE CONFLICT FAR FROM YOU
February 2
There are real and major conflicts constantly going on throughout the world. You may feel stuck, not knowing how to help, or you may avoid it altogether. When we see the reality of conflicts, prayerfully seek God for guidance, and take a step forward, we can collectively make our world a better place.
Our kids and students are asking hard questions about God, faith, life, and culture—and are often turning to the internet or their friends for answers. As the church, how can we be a safe space for questions and point to God’s wisdom for answers? Questions Our Kids Are Asking will help us do just that!
Prayers for the Next President
October 13, 20, 27 & November 3
Election seasons are tense and have the potential to divide us, yet we are called to demonstrate love that shows no partiality. Not only that, we see a biblical call to pray for our elected officials (which can feel like a challenge at times). So what would you pray? The Bible shows us the character traits required for effective leadership that we can pray for our leaders and our own lives!
For God So Loves
November 10, 17 & 24
God loves everyone…and so should we! When you experience the love of Jesus, you begin to see His heart for all people, the vulnerable, and even your enemies. During these three weeks, we’ll explore God’s heart for compassion and justice and see how we can play a part right where we are. You’ll also get the chance to assemble Hope Packs and send a gift to every incarcerated person in Illinois!
