Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” During this pandemic, we have all faced hardship. It can be easy to focus so much on our own struggles that we forget to see the struggles of those around us. Especially if you are someone who is resilient, having mercy on others can be a challenge. What would it look like for you to show mercy on someone else who is struggling today? Ask for God’s heart for others and the ability to have grace for those who are experiencing ongoing hardship but haven’t been able to persevere in the same ways as you.
