Join the Conversation with Call + Response
We are called to fight poverty and injustice to help transform our community. The ability to fight injustice starts with awareness. Did you know Chicago land has a growing human trafficking and labor slavery trade? CALL+RESPONSE is a first of its kind feature documentary film that reveals the world's 27 million dirtiest secrets: there are more slaves today than ever before in human history. CALL+RESPONSE goes deep undercover where slavery is thriving from the child brothels of Cambodia, the streets of America and the slave brick kilns of rural India. In 2009, Slave Traders made more money than Google, Nike and Starbucks combined. Join the Conversation on Friday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m., Willow Crystal Lake with the producer of CALL+RESPONSE, Justin Dillon. Come to learn more about this epidemic to help abolish human trafficking and labor slavery around the world. Childcare will be provided.
